Helena Piccazio

The Brazilian Helena Piccazio began her violin studies in 1991 under the tutelage of Renata Jaffe in São Paulo, her hometown. She had joined many orchestras since then such as the Repertoire Experimental Orchestra, University of São Paulo Symphonic Orchestra, Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra and the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, performing in several countries of South America, North America, Asia and Europe. Among the conductors she had worked with are Lorin Maazel, Helena Herrera, Gustavo Dudamel, Johannes Schlaeflie, Carlos Moreno, Roberto Miczuk, Josep Vicent, Peter Eotvos, Jean Deroyer and Pierre Boulez. Helena teaches violin and string sectionals at St. Andrew’s School, Preparatory School of Music at Lynn University and Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County.
